Associate Director, Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis

Role: Associate Director of Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis at a biopharma focused on RNAi therapeutics, supporting enterprise-wide financial planning, executive reporting, and strategic decision-making. Responsibilities include managing annual budgets, long-term forecasts, quarterly updates, and preparing presentations for senior leadership and the Board. Acts as the primary finance partner for G&A functions (Information Systems, Legal, HR), and collaborates across Clinical, Commercial, and Partnership finance teams. Supports partnership modeling, scenario analysis, and system enhancements (notably Anaplan). Requirements: Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or related field; 10+ years in FP&A with 5+ in leadership; proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and FP&A systems; strong communication and organizational skills; familiarity with US GAAP. Preferred: CPA or MBA, biotech or pharma R&D experience, Anaplan, clinical trial financial tools, Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI. Based in Pasadena or San Diego, CA, with an in-office expectation, salary range $170K-$185K.
