Associate Director, Consumer Marketing
Principal Responsibilities:
- Support strategic development and lead tactical execution of consumer promotional strategy, aligned with HCP brand initiatives.
- Develop strategic, high-impact consumer messaging across all channels (including promotional materials).
- Collaborate with external agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure consistency, compliance, and excellence in brand messaging.
- Oversee measurement, analytics, and optimization using KPIs for continuous campaign improvement.
- Manage agency relationships, deliverables, and associated budget.
- Partner with Omnichannel Marketing to ensure pull-through across digital channels.
- Identify patient-journey barriers and design content/programs to address them.
- Partner with Analytics & Insights to distill insights, validate opportunities, and optimize consumer initiatives.
- Provide leadership and guidance in complex situations.
- Foster cross-functional partnerships (e.g., sales, medical, legal, regulatory, promotional review committee) to deliver assets.
- Follow all Company Health, Safety, and Environmental guidelines.
Education and Experience Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelorβs degree
- 12+ years in marketing/related function (including pharma marketing)
- Consumer marketing strategy/tactics planning; strong communication with internal partners and agencies
- Media experience (including digital); broadcast media planning preferred
- Experience leading cross-functional and agency teams
- Strong strategic/analytical/communication skills; ability to manage and influence in a matrix environment
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholder expectations
- Results-driven, high ownership/urgency/resilience
- Data/insights/analysis to inform evidence-based decisions
- Leadership with clarity in ambiguity; collaborative culture in a lean, fast-paced setting
Desired:
- MBA
- 3+ years in Patient and/or Consumer Packaged Goods industry
- Diabetes marketplace experience with emphasis in insulin therapy (preferred)
Pay Range:
- $148,000 - $222,000 per year
