Role Summary

The Associate Director, Commercial Learning & Development – Hematology develops training programs to support the Hematology Sales and Commercial team, assessing training needs and designing solutions to support business goals. Responsibilities include evaluating program effectiveness and delivering training within scope and budget.

Responsibilities

  • Designs and delivers innovative training plans and materials for Account Managers and the Commercial organization in hematology
  • Delivers training for new hires and tenured representatives (New Hire Sales Training, Division Meetings, Regional Sales Meetings, Launch Meetings, National Meetings)
  • Collaborates with Marketing, Market Access, IT, Commercial Operations and Sales leadership as a performance consultant to determine training needs
  • Develops training programs based on quantitative and qualitative marketplace, customer, and employee insights

Qualifications

  • MD, PhD, or PharmD with 5+ years of experience or MA/MS with 6+ years of hematology/oncology training and clinical practice with direct patient care
  • Ability to architect a learning curriculum based on needs analysis and effective learning models with measurable results
  • Develop, design and deliver learning curriculum materials with objectives aligned to business
  • Highly effective facilitation skills and understanding of adult learning principles
  • Ability to organize end-to-end training and onboarding for Commercial new hires
  • Ability to translate clinical concepts with marketing messages to execute learning curricula
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Education

  • Advanced Degree required. Specifically MA/MS in a scientific or healthcare discipline, MD, PharmD, NP, PA
  • Preferred: Training Certifications, MBA

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience with Promotional & Regulatory Committee submissions and maintenance of approved materials
  • Experience in selling and training oncology/hematology sales teams
  • Active LTEN and/or ATD membership preferred
  • Certification in training capabilities (project management, facilitation, adult learning, instructional design, virtual training, change management, performance consulting, sales consulting, training technologies)
  • Innovative mindset in delivering best-in-industry training
  • Team-focused yet capable of independent remote work
  • Proven leadership and accountability; entrepreneurial mindset with flexibility

Travel

  • Remote role with travel dependent on business need
