Position Overview

argenx US Commercial Planning and Readiness community is growing and looking for an Associate Director, Commercial insights. In this role you will lead market insights in support of inline and pipeline indications for the US neurology market. This role partners closely with cross-functional partners and indication teams to generate deep customer insights in support of ongoing market knowledge and new launches. Roles And Responsibilities

  • Execute market research for insights generation in support of ongoing and new launches for VYVGART in neurology
  • Collaborate with CI to analyze and incorporate competitive landscape developments into insights and implications
  • Partner with cross-functional and global commercialization partners to identify market intelligence needs and deliver key insights to support market development and go-to-market strategies
  • Lead proposal, design and execution of qualitative and quantitative market research projects
  • Synthesize findings to address business questions, inform strategy development, and support superior decision-making
  • Engage in thoughtful cross-functional collaboration with analytics, CI, marketing, medical, and market access to integrate market insights
  • Effectively manage multiple external vendor/partner relationships to ensure high quality and insightful deliverables to achieve business objectives within budget and timeline
  • Contribute to an innovative culture that strives for out-of-the-box thinking and creative approaches to commercial insights utilizing primary and secondary tools
  • Seek opportunities to co-create with internal and external stakeholders in efforts to achieve insights excellence
  • Partner with Finance and Sr. Director of Commercial Insights to manage the department budget including vendor agreements and contracts

Skills And Competencies

  • Highly skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including interfacing with key stakeholders within the commercial and medical organization
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Adaptive and motivated to execute efficiently
  • Solid business, planning, and budget management acumen
  • Ability to identify and understand business opportunities and develop a research plan to provide actionable insights
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time

Education, Experience And Qualifications

  • BA or BS, Advanced Degree preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in pharmaceutical market insights or relevant commercial functions
  • Extensive experience conducting primary market research. Expertise in a broad range of qualitative and quantitative market research methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to effectively define business issues and recommendations
  • Launch experience in rare disease a plus
  • Familiarity with leading pharma industry commercial vendors and data sources
