Responsibilities:
- Lead long-term strategy, architecture, roadmap, and operating model for SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business, the corporate intranet, enterprise search, and selected Microsoft Viva capabilities.
- Provide strategic and technical leadership for Microsoft Teams (chat, channels, sites, meetings, guest/external collaboration) and coordinate shared policies with Productivity & Messaging Platforms.
- Act as senior technical practitioner: perform hands-on configuration/engineering/advanced troubleshooting while leveraging Managed Service Providers (MSPs).
- Serve as product owner for corporate intranet and enterprise search (backlogs/releases, information architecture, templates, publishing standards, taxonomy, search configuration, content ownership, employee experience).
- Establish governance/architecture/identity/access/lifecycle/records & retention & information-protection standards; support 21 CFR Part 11/validation where applicable and align with Sarbanes-Oxley, data privacy, and Enterprise Risk Management.
- Lead migration remediation and modernization (e.g., Egnyte-to-SharePoint cleanup); manage initiatives from discovery through adoption and value realization.
- Partner with business leaders on recommendations, training/change management, and site/Team owner enablement.
- Direct MSP/vendor delivery (scope/SOWs, demand planning, service levels, change control, quality/performance, escalations, knowledge transfer) while validating technical delivery.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (IT, CS, Information Systems, Business, or related).
- 8+ years progressive experience in enterprise collaboration/digital workplace/Microsoft 365/ECM.
- Demonstrated experience as both technical lead and hands-on engineer for Microsoft 365 collaboration.

Preferred Skills:
- Deep knowledge of SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Microsoft 365 groups, Entra ID, enterprise search, information architecture, external sharing, lifecycle management, Microsoft Purview.
- Experience with SharePoint Advanced Management, Microsoft Viva, Power Platform governance, Microsoft Graph, SPFx, PnP tooling, automation/modern site provisioning; regulated-industry experience preferred.

- Travel up to 10%; role is not expected to be 100% remote.

Compensation:
- Target base pay range: $150,000–$195,000.
