Role: Associate Director of Clinical Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) supporting R&D and Medical Affairs at a biopharma focused on hematologic diseases. Responsibilities: lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for clinical R&D; develop KPIs, analyze variances, and produce reporting for clinical trials; partner with clinical teams, Program Management, and Accounting to ensure accuracy in expenses, accruals, and financial insights. Serve as a strategic business partner to clinical functions, providing actionable financial insights and enabling informed decision-making. Requirements: Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or related; 8+ years FP&A experience within biotech or life sciences, preferably in public companies; proven expertise in clinical trial financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting; proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial planning tools (e.g., Planful, Adaptive, NetSuite); knowledge of US GAAP. Preferred: MBA, CPA, consulting background. High-Value: focus on clinical R&D for hematology, hybrid work model based in Watertown, MA, with no travel specified.
