Operations
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead category management for engineering & construction services, automation, and capital equipment.
- Review requirements, develop sourcing strategies, oversee supplier due diligence and RFPs, negotiate/award contracts, and oversee contract management.
- Negotiate agreements to minimize cost and risk while achieving project objectives.
- Partner with business clients on supplier qualification, supplier relationship management, spend analysis, market intelligence, and risk management.
- Source major capital projects (> $5M) at global manufacturing sites (annual $100M–$300M spend).
- Manage procurement for major/mega projects and programs with higher complexity.
- Build capital project procurement strategy aligned to business objectives.
- Lead supplier management by facilitating relationships between internal customers and suppliers.
- Identify and implement cost/risk reduction/avoidance savings ($5M+ annually).
- Execute procurement per Global Procurement procedures with competitive bidding.

Preferred Skills:
- Proven sourcing experience for engineering/construction services and capital equipment; commissioning/qualification experience.
- Process/plant experience; support for $500M+ projects.
- Strong written/verbal communication and collaboration; English proficiency.
- CIPS/IIPMM/ISM and/or relevant procurement experience.
- IT literacy (Microsoft Office, SAP/Ariba); ability to influence/negotiation; analytical problem-solving; independent in complex environments.

Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, preferred).
- 7+ years in capital construction procurement (sourcing, negotiation, contract management for engineering, construction, capital equipment).
- US work authorization needed (visa sponsorship not provided).

Other:
- Travel 10%–25%; location: Virginia and/or other sites.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Anticipated wage: $127,500–$187,000.
