Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute capability roadmaps for data management, analytics, and solutions aligned with U.S. and global Market Access priorities for in-line brands and pipeline assets.
- Oversee data enablement initiatives, creating analytics-ready data products from diverse sources (e.g., payer data, 852/867 trade data, IQVIA Exponent and LAAD data, MMIT, chargebacks, rebates, and third-party vendors).
- Lead data governance efforts, establishing standards, policies, and compliance frameworks to ensure data integrity, security, and innovation.
- Drive advanced analytics and AI/ML capabilities, including predictive modeling, anomaly detection (e.g., 340B attribution), real-time insights, self-service tools, and Generative AI for decision support in access barrier reduction, launch optimization, and market shaping.
- Collaborate with Market Access teams and leadership to translate complex data into actionable insights, KPIs, and performance monitoring.
- Manage vendor relationships for data acquisition and integration, and partner with enterprise teams (e.g., Digital Technology & Engineering, Global Insights) to build seamless data ecosystems.
- Promote change management, data literacy, and adoption of new capabilities to enhance analytical maturity.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to drive continuous innovation in Market Access data solutions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelorโs degree required (Masterโs or PhD preferred) in Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Health Economics, Computer Science, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in biopharma/biotech focused on Market Access, Managed Markets, Commercial Analytics, or consulting in data/analytics.
- Expertise in U.S. Market Access (payer and contracting strategies, reimbursement, pricing and channel dynamics, government programs such as 340B, Medicare, Medicaid).
- Proficiency with SQL, Python/R, Power BI/Tableau, Snowflake; familiarity with Market Access data sources (IQVIA, Exponent, LAAD, MMIT, aggregated channel data).
- Proven experience building data capabilities, governance frameworks, or Centers of Excellence (COEs), with track record managing teams or projects.
- Strong communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills.
- Strategic mindset; ability to navigate ambiguity, foster collaboration, and deliver measurable impact on access and revenue outcomes.
