Responsibilities:
- Lead matrix teams or act as a single contributor on complex, large-scale campus changes; may lead organizations/sub-organizations as needed.
- Develop strategic plans and communication plans to implement programs/changes; gather broad feedback.
- Apply project/program management across multiple parallel workstreams; manage initiatives from initiation through completion (including post go-live continuous improvement).
- Identify technical solutions aligned with Campus/Site Business Strategy; support/drives implementation.
- Ensure successful delivery via governance and prioritization; ensure projects align to campus goals/objectives.
- Make decisions for complex/novel problems impacting site objectives; apply enterprise mindset and coordinate internal/external stakeholders.
- Determine customer/stakeholder requirements; manage communication, escalation, and issue resolution across boundaries.
- Develop strategy and executive communications (presentations, written, multiple media).
- Promote “license to operate,” influence culture/values; build relationships across levels/global cultures.
- Effectively manage resources and demonstrate commitment to GPS business requirements, especially safety and quality.
Project and Program Management:
- Create scope, execution plans, milestones; maintain tracking tools for progress/risks.
- Estimate resources, align functions, establish governance (steering), communicate status/risks/escalations at multiple levels, manage multiple high-priority projects.
Basic Requirements:
- B.A. or B.S. in a related discipline (Master’s plus).
- PMI Project Management Professional required; Agile/Scrum certifications highly desired.
- Minimum 10 years of experience (preferably biopharma manufacturing complex).
