Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate business development opportunities (in-licensing, out-licensing, strategic partnerships).
- Lead/support strategic, financial, and commercial assessments (valuation and deal structuring).
- Manage transaction execution (due diligence coordination, term sheet development, negotiation support).
- Develop materials for internal governance (e.g., investment committees) and senior leadership presentations.
- Collaborate with R&D, Commercial, Legal, and Finance to assess strategic fit and risks.
- Maintain/expand external network with biotech/pharma companies, advisors, and partners.
- Support alliance management post-deal execution, as needed.

Qualifications:
- MBA, JD, or other advanced degree required; scientific background or strong aptitude to learn complex science and emerging technologies preferred.
- 5–8+ years in business development, consulting, investment banking, or related life sciences roles.
- Strong understanding of drug development and biotech/pharma industry dynamics (market/regulatory environment and deal-making impact).
- Ability to apply scientific knowledge to business cases (commercial forecasts, P&Ls, risk assessments, valuation methods) and strong term sheet/contract negotiation skills.
- Ability to synthesize complex information into clear strategic insights; strong attention to execution.
- Excellent communication/presentation/problem-solving skills; ability to influence stakeholders.
- Collaborative, adaptable, effective in fast-paced environments.

Benefits/Pay (as stated): $168,300–$227,700 base; eligible for annual short-term incentive and long-term incentive (equity). Health, dental, vision, life/disability, lifestyle reimbursement, FSAs/HSAs, 401(k) with match, PTO, wellness days, holidays, recharge breaks, family resources.
