Role Summary

Associate Director, Brand Marketing will lead the development and commercialization of key tactics across fibromyalgia and migraine assets. This role develops tactics across HCP and Consumer/Patient audiences aligned to strategy across personal and non-personal promotion, digital media, communications/PR, and other channels. It requires the ability to work independently and cross-functionally with field sales, medical affairs, commercial strategy/operations, market access, and the Promotional Review Committee, and will report to the Director, Brand Marketing from the Berkeley Heights, NJ office.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain detailed understanding of disease and competitive marketplace
  • Manage a team of agency partners to ensure tactics are delivered on-strategy, on-time, and on-budget
  • Work with full marketing team to support commercialization efforts and help think through how to do ordinary things in extraordinary ways

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in Business/Marketing or related disciplines
  • Master's Degree (MBA) preferred
  • 7+ years of Pharmaceutical or Biotech Marketing experience
  • Experience working with or within advertising agencies of record
  • Experience with recent product/indication launch
  • Experience working with Key Opinion Leaders
  • Experience in pharmaceutical sales preferred
  • CNS, Primary care, rheumatology, and/or pain specialty experience preferred

  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong understanding of marketing business processes and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements
  • Experience working with field-based sales force and market access issues and trends
  • Experience working with Key Opinion Leaders
  • Experience in pharmaceutical sales
  • CNS, Primary care, rheumatology, and/or pain specialty experience

Education
