Role Overview:
Responsible for design, governance, and hands-on delivery of employee benefits and mobility programs; primary accountability for U.S. benefits with global visibility/oversight across countries of operation. Leads the U.S.-based Benefits & Mobility COE as a strategic owner and active practitioner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the U.S. Benefits & Mobility Center of Excellence: health & welfare, retirement, wellness, leave, and mobility.
- Lead benefits communication and improve employee experience.
- Manage day-to-day benefits operations (enrollments, plan changes, audits, issue resolution, escalations).
- Escalation point for complex/high-impact benefits and mobility matters.
- Ensure accurate, timely, employee-focused program delivery.
- Maintain global visibility (e.g., China, Belgium, Ireland) with local HR Operations.
- Align local offerings to Global Benefits Principles/Total Rewards while respecting local law.
- Drive benefit design/investment decisions; evaluate effectiveness (utilization, benchmarks, feedback).
- Own Workday Benefits module SME; partner with HRIS/HR Ops on setup, compliance, scalability.
- Lead vendor relationships, RFPs/renewals/negotiations, and service performance.
- Partner with Finance, Legal, Payroll, HR Ops, IT, and local HR to deliver integrated solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree required; advanced degree/certifications (CEBS, CCP, GMS, SHRM) preferred.
- 9β12 years progressive experience in U.S. benefits and global mobility.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. benefits regulations and global mobility (immigration/tax).
- Hands-on benefits administration and program delivery experience.
- Strong financial, vendor management, governance; excellent communication and project leadership.
