Role Summary

Associate Director, Analytics Product Management responsible for the development and delivery of analytics solutions, web applications, and data products to support market access and pricing decisions. Manages requirements for analyses on patient longitudinal data, develops interactive dashboards and reports, and translates complex data into actionable insights. Partners with multiple departments to support strategic initiatives and enhances data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and gather requirements, user stories, and adjust outcomes to align with business needs at the pace of business.
  • Experience managing timelines and quality control around data products.
  • Work with technical data personnel and engineers to drive business outcomes.
  • Maintain JIRA or other ticketing systems to ensure objectives are met and the team is accountable.
  • Own business rules and interpretation of dimensions and measures for key data products.
  • Own high-level internal systems, respond to inbound user requests, and collaborate with engineers to resolve user needs and bugs.

Technical Requirements

  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools to support market access and pricing decisions.
  • Understanding of IQVIA syndicated data sets, FIA, APLD, etc.
  • Direct analysis of large customer data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities informing strategic decisions.
  • Direct advanced analytics on patient longitudinal data sets and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Create data narratives and visualizations that communicate complex findings to diverse audiences.
  • Partner with Pricing, Contract Development, Value and Access, Account Management, Finance, Forecasting, and Data Management to support initiatives.
  • Direct application of machine learning techniques and predictive modeling to enhance analytics and forecast outcomes.
  • Identify and leverage additional analytics capabilities to improve decision-making.
  • Collaborate with data engineering to ensure data quality, consistency, and availability for analytics.
  • Stay current with methodologies and technologies in data analysis and ML.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical or Payer business.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in analytics leveraging large datasets.
  • Experience in advanced analytics, including predictive modeling and ML applications.

Soft and Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in data analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Expertise in data visualization tools and dashboard development.
  • Understanding of longitudinal and formulary data assets.
  • Ability to interpret data and create narratives to inform business decisions.
  • Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical business and market access.
  • Working knowledge of the US healthcare system and reimbursement environment.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage timelines and lead analytical projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with methodologies and ML technologies.
