Associate Director – Platform Operations, Linux and Storage Backup

Role Summary

The Cloud and Connectivity organization is actively looking a Platform Operations Associate Director for the Linux and Storage/ Backup operations team to drive our global technical operations of Linux, Storage and Backups within our Infrastructure Hosting Platform. This role supports and manages enterprise infrastructure and cloud operational environments, focusing on system stability, automation, and high availability for mission-critical workloads. The role requires technical expertise, leadership, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead US-based Linux, Storage and Backups operations teams (part of the 24/7 global InfraOps teams) to support enterprise infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Maintain system stability, automate operational tasks, and ensure high availability for mission-critical workloads.
• Guide operations teams and collaborate with other platform infrastructure SMEs to deliver daily operations effectively.
• Drive improvements through repeatable patterns, innovative architectural designs, and improved observability to prevent outages and drive value.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Platform/Infrastructure operations leader.
• Demonstrated experience leading and managing operations of a global large-scale infrastructure service.
• Bachelor‚Äôs or Master‚Äôs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Education

• Bachelor‚Äôs / Master‚Äôs degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Additional Requirements

• Onsite role located in Indianapolis, IN (relocation required).
• Shift coverage 11:00am ‚Äì 8:00pm US Eastern Standard Time (EST) / 12:00-9:00pm US Eastern Daylight-Saving Time (EDT).
• Work one of two schedules: Monday - Friday or Thursday ‚Äì Monday.
• This Associate Director role and additional ops Leaders will be required to cover the US hours shift.
• Less than 10% travel.
