Role Summary
The Associate Director, AI Enablement drives enterprise adoption of AI technologies and AI skill development. This role executes AI product roadmaps through launch, education, and consultation: marketing new AI products, teaching users about their features, and advising on maximizing product value. Serves as account executive, relationship manager, and portfolio manager for multiple AI products, building partnerships, shaping strategies to expand AI use, and ensuring strong returns on investment. This position will be onsite 3 days a week.
Responsibilities
- AI LLM Expertise and Ongoing Learning: evaluate new features, lead commercial LLM usage, train the AI consulting team for launches, and link LLMs to productivity and automation using prompt engineering and no-code/low-code solutions.
- AI Product Roadmap: create strategy for launching new AI features, collaborate with AI Product Managers and teams to plan and implement initiatives, ensure clear communication and stakeholder alignment.
- Launch and Promote New AI Product Features: lead an AI consulting team to launch new AI products and features, create and execute strategic marketing plans, manage change initiatives, promote AI services organization-wide, drive adoption of new capabilities.
- Provide Education on New AI Product Features: deliver ongoing, practical AI training across the enterprise with sessions and materials for all skill levels.
- AI Consultation and Community Management: provide AI consultation based on community needs, advise on tool selection, prompt engineering, content integration, and analytics; manage AI communities to promote collaboration and connect non-enterprise clients to resources.
- Connecting Biopharma Business with AI Expertise: understand biopharma needs across R&D, manufacturing, and commercial ops; align AI use cases with business needs and provide targeted education and support to drive adoption.
- Analytics and Data-Driven Insights: define analytics requirements to monitor adoption, measure ROI, and evaluate campaigns; develop new initiatives based on insights to maximize value.
- Communication and Presentation Skills: articulate AI features and adoption strategies to varied audiences, including executives and new users; create targeted AI training for leadership as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, information management, or a related field with at least 9 years of experience; or Master’s degree with 8 years of experience; or PhD with 4 years of experience.
- Experience as a Solutions Lead in at least one enterprise AI product deployment; preference for Microsoft Copilot experience.
- Expert in LLMs and a superuser of at least one foundational LLM model (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Google).
- Knowledge of Pharmaceutical / Biopharma industry preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, change management and marketing aptitude.
- 5+ years of demonstrable experience managing large, complex IT projects and portfolios.
