Key Responsibilities:
- Interact with large, complex accounts to support patient access within aligned therapeutic area product(s); provide face-to-face (or virtual as needed) education to providers and staff to integrate products into office processes and workflows.
- Work with office stakeholders (executives, providers, administrators, billing/coding staff, claims departments, revenue cycle managers) to support patient access.
- Analyze access and reimbursement problems; support reimbursement issues with third-party payers at the provider level.
- Support pull-through on local coverage decisions; proactively communicate policy changes impacting other departments.
- Maintain expertise in regional/local access landscape and act as a reimbursement expert for aligned product(s).
- Interface with Patient Support Center (hub) and Access & Reimbursement Managers to support patient case management (tracking, issue resolution, reimbursement support, staff education).
- Collaborate cross-functionally to share customer insights and barriers.
- Educate HCPs on approved materials covering acquisition pathways and end-to-end buy-and-bill processes, including centralized/decentralized acquisition and alternate channels (white/clear/brown bagging; alternate site of care).

Buy and Bill Specific:
- Assess access situation in assigned geography; develop and communicate a Plan of Action (POA).
- Educate stakeholders on ordering, payment, inventory, and product returns/replacement logistics.
- Act as designated reimbursement expert; engage non-prescribers (pharmacy, system leadership, financial counselors, administrators, revenue cycle managers).

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required; business/biological science preferred; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years in pharma/biotech (Patient Services, Market Access, Sales, and/or account management), with 2+ years in a Patient Services practice support role for specialty product(s).
- Experience with complex practices/health systems; strategic proactive account management.
- Expertise integrating manufacturer-sponsored patient support programs.
- Specialty pharmacy network experience; knowledge of reimbursement pathways (specialty pharmacy, buy-and-bill, retail).
- Reside within territory/within 60 miles of territory border; travel 60–80%; valid driver’s license.
