Associate Counsel, Life Sciences

Role: Commercially focused U.S. legal counsel supporting Certara’s biosimulation software and services. Responsibilities: negotiate a broad range of life sciences and technology agreements including master services, SaaS, licensing, data privacy, vendor, and reseller contracts; advise business teams in practical terms; manage matters from inception to signature; maintain templates, playbooks, and escalation procedures; ensure compliance with legal frameworks and process improvements; collaborate with sales, finance, privacy, security, procurement, and operations. Requirements: JD from an accredited U.S. law school, active bar membership, 1-3 years in commercial transactions at a law firm or in-house; strong drafting and negotiation skills in MSAs, SaaS, privacy/data; experience in life sciences, biotech, health tech, or regulated data preferred; familiarity with HIPAA, GDPR advantageous; excellent organization, judgment, and communication skills.
