Role Summary

Associate Account Manager, Sales at Perrigo, Allegan or Grand Rapids, MI. Develops Perrigo’s business in assigned categories at specified accounts through effective account management and implementation of recommendations to grow revenue and profit.

Responsibilities

  • Sales & Margin - Lead development of objectives and implement strategies to achieve the sales plan; collaborate with Account/Region teams, Marketing, and Marketing Information to develop/category reviews, new product presentations, share growth initiatives, and consumer insights findings in an actionable manner.
  • Price Management - Execute all price management activities at assigned accounts; negotiate item pricing to meet price and margin objectives; collaborate with Pricing and Marketing to incorporate market and competitive intelligence into price concessions.
  • Strategic Account Relationship - Enhance relationships with Buyers and up to Director level across all necessary departments; leverage relationships to maximize Perrigo’s value and business results.
  • Internal Project Management - Manage projects for the customer base; develop plans and timelines; coordinate cross-functional teams to meet launch timings for new products or conversions; advocate for the.customer inside Perrigo; develop service strategies with Customer Planning and Customer Fulfillment to maximize DC and store in-stocks and forecasting.
  • Administrative - Ensure compliance with Perrigo and customer administrative requirements; align internal resources and systems to customer needs.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; 5+ years of professional experience; CPG experience preferred.
  • Required: Previous consumer packaged goods experience in direct selling to customers; strong analytical skills and understanding of the selling process.
  • Required: Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication.
  • Required: Ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative information to develop actionable recommendations.
  • Required: Ability to manage hundreds of SKUs across multiple categories and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Required: Excellent judgment, follow-up, attention to detail, and personal accountability.
  • Required: Working knowledge of basic computer software and ability to communicate by email, telephone, and in person.
