Primary Responsibilities (Y.E.S. Team Specialist):
- Support laboratory scientists by centralizing tasks to keep labs operational and assist with non-lab work.
- Perform Y.E.S. initiatives including domestic/international shipping of chemical intermediates; sourcing and ordering chemicals/materials.
- Troubleshoot lab equipment; initiate and track lab/equipment repair requests.
- Perform routine tasks (e.g., eyewash station checks, glovebox organization) and implement organizational improvements.
- Support equipment lifecycle via capital equipment purchases and end-of-life equipment retirement; collaborate with requestors, safety professionals, capital committees, vendors, and others.
Education Minimum Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree + 1 year relevant experience; OR Associate degree (technical field) + 3 years; OR HS Diploma/GED + 4 years relevant experience (capital projects, inventory management, pharmaceutical/chemical/petrochemical, food processing, or manufacturing).
Required Experience & Skills:
- Effective verbal/written communication; strong organizational/multi-tasking skills.
- Willingness to learn, contribute, and lead; independent problem-solving.
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, graphing, and presentation software.
- Familiarity with chemical/solvent property databases, lab practices/equipment, and general lab safety.
Desired Experience & Skills:
- Domestic/international shipping requirements; equipment/electronics troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with cGMPs, Good Documentation Practices (GDPs), and S&E regulations (pharmaceutical development).
- Lean Six Sigma training/certification.
Required Skills: Document management; spreadsheets; teamwork.

- Salary range: $71,900.00 - $113,200.00.
