Assoc Director-Project Management

Role Summary

Assoc Director-Project Management will lead cross-functional teams to deliver Lilly Imaging’s molecular imaging agents and biomarkers portfolios, develop and drive robust, integrated project plans, continuously optimize processes, and support modernization of imaging infrastructure and business reporting.

Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional teams in Lilly Imaging (Research & Discovery, clinical development, Imaging Operations, Medical, Regulatory) and key business partners to develop and deliver project plans that encompass all project management knowledge areas (timeline, scope, risks, communications; budget where applicable)
• Hold project teams accountable for achievement of key deliverables in alignment with the project plan and corporate quality standards
• Develop and implement team communication plans, decisions, risks / issues to stakeholders; maintain documentation and create visualizations and messaging upward and across organization
• Help manage the organization‚Äôs various portfolios of work (clinical, non-clinical, data and digital) for different therapeutic areas to identify and communicate integration risks and impacts across projects, and create milestone roadmaps
• Support the expansion of PM capabilities and competencies throughout Lilly Imaging and key business partnerships through applied PM tools and techniques, and shared learning
• Lead special projects as needed to optimize business processes; expertise in Smartsheet portfolio management and reporting capabilities a plus
• Partner with peers and functional leaders to identify modernization and optimization opportunities
• Liaise with Tech@Lilly and Lilly business functions to identify and build implementation plans that leverage needed capabilities and tools
• Create and implement change management plans to support adoption of new processes and tools

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor‚Äôs degree with at least 10 years of project management experience in the radiopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical industry, with a proven track record of leading complex projects within Clinical Development
• Required: Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira) and methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile)
• Required: Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and working in O365 platform
• Required: Strong problem-solving skills; able to anticipate and recognize issues and barriers, diagnose root causes, validate/confirm, and propose creative alternatives to influence corrective actions
• Required: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, and communicate clearly and concisely with leadership
• Required: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Preferred: PMP certification / Applied knowledge of project management processes
• Preferred: Proficient in self-management and organizational skills; able to manage workload, set personal, team priorities, and adjust as needed
• Preferred: Strong interpersonal and teambuilding skills; able to develop effective teamwork between team members with diverse styles
• Preferred: Technical project / system implementation incorporating change management for business adoption
