Associate Director, Market Access Strategy & Insights, HIV Prevention

Responsibilities:
- Bridge market access strategy development with field execution for U.S. HIV Prevention assets.
- Partner across Market Access, Commercial, and Medical Affairs to translate priorities into actionable field initiatives that improve patient access.
- Lead field communications, training, launch readiness, implementation planning, and cross-functional coordination.
- Develop U.S. market access strategies; collaborate with Brand Teams, Medical Affairs, HEOR, Account Management, Finance, Market Research, Legal, and Government Affairs.
- Translate payer/provider/health system/customer insights into strategic recommendations and resources.
- Monitor market dynamics, policy changes, competitive activity, and access trends; refine strategies and resources.
- Support annual planning, launch readiness, and portfolio management.
- Serve as liaison to the Institutional Access Director (IAD) organization; develop IAD implementation plans and field deployment strategies.
- Facilitate collection/dissemination of field insights.
- Lead strategic communications for Market Access field organizations; establish processes/tools to improve coordination.
- Support cross-functional project management and develop performance metrics/reporting.
- People leader accountabilities: create inclusion, develop talent, empower teams.

Qualifications:
- Basic: 10+ years with BS/BA (or 8+ years with MS/MA or MBA).
- Preferred: 8+ years relevant experience (biopharma/healthcare/managed markets/consulting/reimbursement/commercial strategy).
- Demonstrated cross-functional project leadership and strategic planning.
- Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, PharmD, MS, or equivalent).
- Experience in Market Access/Managed Markets/Reimbursement/Account Management/Commercial Strategy/Marketing.
- Knowledge of Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and health system reimbursement.
- Strong communication/organizational/stakeholder management; navigate ambiguity and influence without authority.
- Preferred: knowledge of HIV, infectious diseases, prevention, or specialty pharmaceutical markets.

Location/Benefits/Application:
- Based in Foster City, CA; no relocation assistance.
- Salary range: $182,070.00–$235,620.00. Eligible for discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives, paid time off, and medical/dental/vision/life insurance.
