Associate Director, Enterprise Master Data Management (Product Owner)
Responsibilities
- Own enterprise master data vision, roadmap, and governance strategy; partner with business leaders, data stewards, and process owners to define priorities.
- Establish data governance policies, stewardship models, and operating procedures; drive data quality, compliance, standardization, and business value.
- Own SAP MDG and related master data platform strategy, governance, architecture, and continuous improvement.
- Govern SAP data domains: Material Master, Product Master, Business Partner, Customer Master, Vendor Master, Product Segmentation, and Reference/Hierarchy Data.
- Define enterprise standards for data creation, maintenance, governance, and quality; lead enterprise segmentation strategy (planning, manufacturing, logistics, serialization, quality, finance, commercial).
- Lead delivery of enterprise data initiatives (governance, migration, quality, MDG transformation); lead cross-functional teams and establish KPIs.
- Build data management capabilities and governance maturity; lead data councils/forums; influence senior leaders; foster data ownership/accountability.
Qualifications/Skills
- Bachelorβs degree + 10+ years relevant experience (SAP/master data/governance/enterprise data mgmt) or Masterβs + 8+ years.
- Deep expertise in SAP MDG and enterprise data governance frameworks.
- Experience with Material Master, Business Partner, Product Master, data stewardship, data quality, and segmentation.
- Experience leading enterprise-wide data transformation programs.
- Strong cross-functional process understanding and stakeholder management; strong leadership and product ownership.
Compensation/Benefits
- Salary range: $195,670.00β$253,220.00; may include discretionary bonus, stock-based incentives, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life.
