Role: The Health System Medical Outcomes Science Liaison (HS MOSL) is a field-based scientific expert serving as Alnylam's primary medical liaison within healthcare systems, academic institutions, and organized delivery networks. Primary objectives include engaging formulary decision makers, clinical leaders, and healthcare executives to communicate the clinical and economic value of Alnylam's portfolio, supporting formulary, access, and clinical pathway decisions, and identifying research collaboration opportunities to generate real-world evidence. Responsibilities involve developing strategic account plans, conducting balanced scientific exchanges, providing HEOR and outcomes data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Medical Affairs and Value & Access. Qualifications: Requires an advanced degree (MD, DO, PharmD, PhD); 5+ years in Medical Affairs, preferably with direct experience working with healthcare systems or IDNs; knowledge of pharmacoeconomics, health outcomes research, US healthcare ecosystems, and formulary decision-making; strong therapeutic area expertise, ideally in rare diseases; and excellent communication skills. Preferred: HEOR fellowship, additional degrees (MS, MBA, MPH), experience with federal health systems (VA, DoD). High-value biopharma specifics include focus on rare diseases, health economic evidence provision, compliance with PhRMA, OIG, and FDA guidelines, and extensive travel (up to 75%). The role requires residency within the territory and involves interaction with senior healthcare stakeholders to support evidence-based decision-making. The position offers a salary range of $187,700β$253,900 plus incentive awards.
