About the Role
Responsible for managing the Company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Veeva/VeevaVault applications for field teams, and other user groups as needed. Oversees development and implementation of updates to improve field team productivity, effectiveness, and compliance. Partners with Field Sales, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Marketing, Marketing Operations, IT, and other teams to manage and maintain the CRM system.

Your Contributions
- Serve as business owner for field/internal teams regarding the CRM platform and Veeva/VeevaVault application data
- Lead development of Veeva CRM policies
- Oversee implementation of Veeva Vault CRM modules (Veeva Events, Account Management, Suggestions, etc.)
- Partner with field commercial teams, Field Leadership, Marketing, and Marketing Operations to manage CRM functioning
- Support P2P program logistics through Veeva Events with speaker program vendors
- Coordinate quarterly meeting planning with cross-functional departments
- Oversee Veeva CRM initiatives, product sampling, and Veeva Events through direct reports
- Drive Veeva architecture/design, data cleanliness/integrity, process building, testing, and deploying
- Recommend and execute Veeva system optimizations while adhering to compliance policy
- Lead CRM-related process improvement (functionality, customer data, reporting)
- Lead implementation of Next Best Action for relevant field teams
- Coordinate with Data Management for processes between Data Warehouse and downstream Veeva tools
- Manage change requests and dashboards/reporting; run UAT via scripts and scheduling
- Provide analytics on Veeva activity data (speaker programs, calls, adhoc initiatives) to leadership as needed
- Manage vendor relationships integrating with Veeva
- Oversee Veeva user security and licenses (profiles, roles, permissions, sharing rules)
- Communicate system changes/updates in advance

Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Finance/Marketing/related + 12+ years sales operations experience (biotech/pharma), including significant sales incentive compensation; managerial/functional management experience required
- OR Master’s/MBA strongly preferred + 8+ years
- Proven commercial/sales environment experience (pharma/biotech)
- Strong project management; experience leading teams/direct reports
- Demonstrated business process improvement and training experience
- Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects
- Experience leading cross-department projects
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and process orientation
- Strong familiarity with database architecture and commercial system back-end
- Extensive knowledge of Veeva/Salesforce.com and Veeva Vault
- Experience managing vendors for biopharma commercial systems and sales force analytics
- Strong budget management
- Advanced computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills; influence/motivate/collaborate across stakeholders
