Medical Science Liaison (MSL) — Territory: Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, establish, and maintain collaborative relationships with key investigators, institutions, groups, and consortia for safe/effective use of company products
- Provide medical education to the healthcare community on Incyte products and disease areas of focus
- Respond to unsolicited requests for medical information (often with Medical Information Services)
- Increase company visibility and enhance interaction with current/future oncology leaders
- Identify clinical research opportunities aligned with company objectives
- Serve as primary territory contact for investigator-sponsored trial program (from concept submission through publication)
- Identify and communicate key clinical/research insights from oncology leaders to shape research and support safe/appropriate product use
- Maintain clinical/scientific expertise via training, conferences, workshops, and review of key publications
- Gather and disseminate competitive intelligence in a compliant manner
- Mentor other MSL team members; participate in cross-functional US Medical Affairs teams
- Execute administrative aspects of regional field activities
- Provide medical leadership for US Medical Affairs and Development programs/projects
- Ensure compliance with Incyte policies/SOPs and USMA operating guidelines
- Maintain independence and integrity of the USMA business function with internal/external stakeholders
- Complete accurate and timely administrative reports, project plans, and required documentation

Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, or MD) with prior biotech/pharmaceutical industry experience (strongly preferred)
- Prior MSL or relevant experience (strongly preferred)
- Minimum 5 years hematology/oncology experience (strongly preferred)
- Clinical research experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of treatment guidelines, FDA regulations, CMS reimbursement coverage process, and OIG guidelines
- Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills
- Strong problem solving, decision-making, and negotiation skills
- Strategic thinking and analytical skills
- Ability to summarize complex scientific information clearly, concisely, and accurately for diverse audiences
- Ability to network and partner with external customers (thought leaders, academic institutions, consortia, practice networks)
- Team-oriented; enjoys cross-functional collaboration
- Demonstrated leadership skills; able to handle challenges within scope of authority
- Deep therapeutic competency; stays abreast of trends/new translational science information

Travel:
- Approximately 50–60% domestic travel required
