Your Role: Assistant General Counsel, Trademark & Brand Innovation

Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic legal counsel to global business partners on soft IP-related matters, including risk evaluation, mitigation strategies, and due diligence for potential acquisitions.
- Manage global enforcement of IP rights, including anti-counterfeiting measures, disputes, cease and desist correspondence, and UDRP/TTAB proceedings.
- Draft and negotiate IP-related agreements (e.g., coexistence, consent, settlement agreements).
- Oversee the global trademark and copyright portfolio: conduct/review searches, advise on procurement, and manage outside counsel.
- Educate and advise legal and business stakeholders on IP fundamentals, trends, and developments.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor with an active State Bar registration in good standing.
- 5+ years of dedicated experience in trademark and copyright law (in-house or law firm).
- Deep expertise in global trademark portfolio management and enforcement; ability to provide strategic, risk-based counsel to senior business leaders.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Undergraduate/advanced degree in a scientific field (especially chemistry or biochemistry).
- Experience in animal health, crop science, or pharmaceutical industry.
- USPTO registration as a Patent Attorney.
- Previous in-house legal experience.
- Strong business acumen and collaborative mindset.
