Assistant Controller, North America/Global SOX Lead

Role: Assistant Controller and Global SOX Lead supporting North America financial operations and overseeing the company's global SOX compliance. Responsibilities: manage North America financial statements, month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and support external audits; lead SOX program, partner with Finance, IT, Internal Audit, and external auditors to strengthen controls; research US GAAP standards, drive process improvements, and support tax activities. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; 10+ years of progressive accounting experience; CPA preferred; strong US GAAP knowledge; experience with audits, SOX compliance, and internal controls; excellent analytical and leadership skills; advanced Excel; SAP experience preferred. Preferred: Big Four background, biotech/pharma industry experience, leadership in public company accounting, and process improvement expertise.
