What Youβll Own
- Lead development and execution of an integrated asset strategy aligned to Business Unit priorities, portfolio objectives, and enterprise goals.
- Shape the strategy across the asset lifecycle (development through commercialization and lifecycle management).
- Evaluate opportunities, risks, and tradeoffs to inform critical decisions and optimize long-term value.
- Ensure alignment among strategic priorities, resource allocation, timelines, and financial plans.
- Lead a high-performing, cross-functional Asset Team; create alignment on priorities, key decisions, and execution plans.
- Foster trust, transparency, accountability, and productive debate; build partnerships for timely escalation and resolution.
- Drive timely, high-quality decision-making through governance forums and executive interactions.
- Champion the asset and communicate strategy, risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations clearly.
- Translate strategy into coordinated action; establish priorities and accountability for milestones and deliverables.
- Monitor progress, anticipate obstacles, adapt plans, and drive urgency while maintaining scientific rigor, quality, and compliance.
Qualifications
Required
- 10+ yearsβ experience in biotechnology/pharmaceutical/healthcare (or related).
- 5+ years leading complex cross-functional initiatives/teams in a matrixed environment.
- Demonstrated success influencing decisions, driving alignment, and delivering results across multiple functions.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving; balance short-term execution with long-term value.
Preferred
- Experience in product development, commercialization, medical affairs, portfolio strategy, business leadership (or related).
- Experience leading an Asset Team or similarly complex cross-functional organization.
- Understanding of biopharmaceutical product lifecycle from development through commercialization and lifecycle management.
