Aseptic Technician - Filling, Lyophilization, Capping 3rd Shift

Position Summary / Hours:
- 3rd Shift, Sunday–Thursday 10:00pm–6:30am (overtime/weekends/holidays may be required)

Responsibilities:
- Assist with aseptic filling, lyophilization, and capping; perform independent operation as assigned
- Monitor processes; report unusual circumstances
- Assist with aseptic mechanical set up; handle sterile equipment to maintain sterility
- Use scales/pipettes/calculators to verify fill volumes and other measurements
- Perform routine environmental monitoring
- Learn/apply USDA and APHIS requirements; follow SOPs and GMPs; accurately document processes
- Assist with CIP/SIP systems, SCADA/EWI (as applicable), lab cleaning, work order issue identification
- Operate lyophilizers (Micromax/SCADA); assist in updating batch records/SOPs/JTCs; cross-train and support special projects
- Perform basic repairs/maintenance and identify quality issues

Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent required
- Demonstrate basic mechanical skills
- PC usage

Skills/Competencies:
- Good communication; read/interpret safety and SOPs; document accurately
- Math: conversions, controlled document/inventory calculations; use weight devices
- Multitask; recognize quality issues; working knowledge of GMP

Physical/Environment (high level):
- Manual dexterity; constant standing; lift up to 50 lbs; exposure to noise, chemicals, moving parts, and temperature variations; PPE required
