Role Summary

The Aseptic Site Trainer supports the delivery of high-quality educational services and solutions, coordinating training programs and tracking training initiatives to meet business needs. This role collaborates with leaders and associates to ensure educational content is accurate, comprehensive, and applicable across the site.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure AbbVie Training Policy, processes, procedures, and regulatory training requirements are implemented at the site.
  • Train new and existing employees on proper cleanroom behavior and best practices, including equipment intervention and sampling.
  • Support the implementation of global Aseptic Best Practices related to aseptic processes and training.
  • Create content and administer periodic refresher training for employees working in cleanroom areas.
  • Create and revise procedures related to job function as needed.
  • Identify areas for improvement in current aseptic processes and manage ongoing improvement projects as needed.
  • Observe aseptic gowning technique and provide coaching.
  • Participate in additional aseptic-related projects as assigned by management.
  • Maintain knowledge of operations processes and facilitate continuous improvement to training effectiveness.
  • Generate training status tracking reports and present them to site management.
  • Gowning training (initial and recertification).
  • Partner with Microbiology and Operations for Environmental Monitoring and Sanitization Training.
  • Conduct monthly shift touchpoints for rolling aseptic refresher trainings.
  • Perform monthly Gemba walks with Aseptic MQA and site leadership.
  • Allocate time to aseptic auditing (approximately 20%).
  • Collaborate with global Aseptic Trainers to develop and deliver targeted trainings based on site needs.
  • Support the entire site for aseptic training, coordinating with global staff to roll out additional training as required; reinforce on-the-floor training through Gemba walks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelorβ€šΓ„Γ΄s degree required. Degree program or professional certification in Education, Communication, Training, or related field beneficial.
  • Knowledge of regulations and standards for aseptic manufacturing and application to training.
  • At least 3 years of combined Aseptic Operations/Quality/Training experience.
  • Experience with GMPs, aseptic manufacturing, and training processes.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/assignments independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to interact effectively with subject matter experts and other business partners.
