Area Sales Director - West & Mountain US Region

Role: The Area Sales Director (ASD) in biopharma sales leads the promotion of the launch product, Anaphylm™, in the West & Mountain US territories. Objectives include driving sales, developing high-performing sales teams, and executing national and local launch strategies. Responsibilities encompass recruiting, training, and motivating District Sales Managers and indirectly influencing a team of sales reps; designing and implementing business plans; monitoring KPIs; and ensuring field execution aligns with strategic goals. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, 10+ years of biopharma management experience with proven leadership, especially in sales force building, product launches, and high-growth environments; 2nd line sales leadership experience; preference for background in allergy, respiratory, or immunology. Skills include strategic planning, team development, cross-functional collaboration (Sales Training, Marketing, Market Access), strong interpersonal and analytical abilities, and valid driver’s license with 50% travel. High-value specifics: Focus on allergy/respiratory/immunology, product launch, high-growth/early-stage environments, and leadership of both direct and indirect sales teams. Collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders critical. Work setup: Remote with 50% travel in the field; salary range $225K–$250K plus benefits.
