Area Rare Cardiac Specialist (ARCS) - Lexington, KY

Role: Field-based Rare Disease – Rare Cardiac Senior Health & Science Specialist responsible for promoting Pfizer's rare cardiac therapies through strategic, compliant customer engagement. Responsibilities include building relationships with cardiology healthcare providers, delivering approved product and disease state messaging, supporting patient access through reimbursement and authorization guidance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address access barriers and drive sales. The role emphasizes leveraging clinical expertise, digital tools, and a structured engagement approach to support evidence-based decision-making, improved care consistency, and patient outcomes. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (8+ years work experience with an associate’s, 10+ with high school diploma), minimum of 3 years in pharma/biotech sales, marketing, or aligned healthcare provider experience. Preferred: 3–5 years' specialty sales, especially in cardiology or hospital settings, with strong understanding of complex disease states, biologics, and reimbursement. Skills include digital engagement, KOL management, strategic planning, and compliance. The position requires residing within the assigned territory, travel within the U.S., and flexibility for overnight stays. The role is field-based with a focus on supporting Pfizer’s rare cardiac product growth in the U.S. healthcare system.
