Area Prevention Specialist (HIV Prevention)

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory business plans aligned to area priorities and objectives.
- Build/maintain relationships with healthcare providers, healthcare systems, and stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to expand patient access and optimize product utilization.
- Consistently achieve or exceed sales objectives using customer insights, analytics, and market intelligence.
- Provide clinical/product/disease-state information; communicate complex scientific information clearly.
- Maintain expertise in therapeutic areas, guidelines, and competitive dynamics; position products appropriately.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Medical Scientists, Field Reimbursement Managers, Market Access) to support patient access and customer experience.
- Ensure compliant, accurate reporting and maintain required training/certifications.
- Manage territory resources, documentation, budgets/expenses; adapt to changing geographies.

Basic Qualifications
- High school + 9 years’ experience OR Associate + 7 OR Bachelor + 5 OR Master + 3.
- Travel: expect 70–80% within the assigned area/geographies as territories change.
- Ability to meet onsite visitation requirements for healthcare practitioners (e.g., screenings/vaccinations if applicable).
- Valid driver’s license required.

Preferred Qualifications
- BA/BS degree; prior pharma/biotech/healthcare sales; injectable physician-administered experience.
- Track record meeting/exceeding sales objectives (preferably specialty markets); managed care and Buy & Bill experience; multi-product portfolio management.
