Area Prevention Specialist (HIV Prevention)

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory business plans aligned with Area priorities, customer needs, and business objectives.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with healthcare providers, healthcare systems, and key stakeholders across assigned geographies.
- Expand patient access and optimize product utilization through effective account planning and customer engagement.
- Achieve or exceed sales objectives while adapting to evolving market dynamics and territory assignments.
- Use customer insights, market intelligence, and business analytics to inform territory strategy.
- Provide relevant clinical, product, and disease-state information; communicate complex scientific information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Maintain clinical/product expertise and deliver compliant, accurate information consistent with approved labeling and policies.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Medical Scientists, Field Reimbursement Managers, Market Access) to support patient access and customer experience.
- Accurately document customer interactions and manage territory resources, budgets, expenses, and administrative requirements.
- Conduct activities in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Basic Qualifications
- High school and 9 years’ experience; OR Associate degree and 7 years; OR Bachelor’s and 5 years; OR Master’s and 3 years.
- Travel: expect 70–80% travel within the assigned area (territories may change).
- Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications
- BA/BS; prior pharma/biotech/healthcare sales; selling skills in competitive markets.
- Track record meeting/exceeding sales objectives (specialty markets preferred).
- Experience selling injectable physician-administered products; Buy & Bill; managed care familiarity; multiple product portfolio experience.

Benefits/Compensation (as stated)
- Salary range: $115,260–$149,160; may be eligible for discretionary annual bonus, long-term incentives, paid time off; medical/dental/vision/life insurance.
