Role Summary

Area Marketing Manager, Neuroscience (Parkinson’s) – East Region. Field-based role focusing on developing and deploying area marketing strategies for Neuroscience in designated geographies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize brand performance and ensure alignment with annual strategic plans.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects through the promotional review process to deliver high-quality work on deadlines, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and AbbVie processes
  • Manage strategy, execution, and budgeting for national and regional conventions, External Expert consulting, advisory boards, and peer-to-peer education programming
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing tactics and provide strategic recommendations for brand optimization
  • Provide in-depth insights to inform marketing strategy, resource optimization, and tactic development that drive brand performance
  • Collaborate with field leadership to optimize pull-through of marketing strategies
  • Understand the competitive landscape and provider dynamics within the assigned geography
  • Coordinate direction and deliverables of multiple vendors and internal teams, including Agency Partners, Marketing, Market Research, Legal, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Office of Ethics and Compliance, and IT
  • Drive a personal/company vehicle or equipment as part of the role

Qualifications

  • Bachelor‚Äôs Degree
  • Strong verbal and non-verbal communication and presentation skills, in person and virtual
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and influencing without direct authority
  • Ability to navigate field and HQ matrix organizations to drive strategy and brand performance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards affecting pharmaceutical products

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years in sales, sales management, or marketing, with Neurology experience preferred
  • Travel up to 50%‚Äì75% of the time, including evenings and weekends
