Main Responsibilities
- Engage in account-based B2B interactions across Pediatrics, Family/General Practice, IDN/IHNs, Health Systems, and FQHCs; deliver clinically focused selling to grow revenue and portfolio goals.
- Act as an “account orchestrator” using cross-functional internal support to improve customer/patient outcomes; own and exceed business goals in a compliant, high-integrity manner.
- Grow portfolio share and revenue; serve as therapeutic area expert to position/differentiate products.
- Coordinate with field stakeholders (e.g., Medical Science Liaisons, Market Access, strategic account managers, hospital business managers) to address customer needs.
- Use account/territory data and analytics; develop agile ABM strategies leveraging AI/digital tools.
- Create strategic plans to drive utilization; understand/differentiate contracting options vs. competition via financial presentations.
- Operate in a buy/bill model, including complex pricing analysis, shipping, contract compliance, and securing amendments.
- Plan and execute local promotional speaker programs; maximize budget effectiveness; participate in industry congresses/meetings.
- Travel up to 75%.
Basic Qualifications (Required)
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3+ years B2B sales (pharma/biotech/medical device preferred) with complex sales cycles/contracting.
- Healthcare environment/decision-making and proven ability to access decision makers.
- Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, agile prioritization, omnichannel execution, data/analytics ability.
- Science/disease-state learning aptitude; tactical initiative execution and multi-product prioritization.
- Broad field sales influence; self-directed organization; excellent written/oral communication.
- Valid driver’s license; eligible for insurance.
Preferred
- Graduate degree; 5+ years pharma/biotech/medical device B2B sales.
- 2+ years account management; enhanced digital and clinical acumen.
- Experience in Market Access/Pricing/Contracting/Finance; MS Office and customer management databases.
