Role Summary

Area Business Manager for Milwaukee, WI, responsible for engaging in account-based business-to-business interactions across key customer segments, delivering clinically focused messaging, and driving revenue growth aligned with Sanofi Vaccines portfolio goals. Acts as an account orchestrator to provide a cohesive customer experience and drive business results with integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Grow portfolio share and revenue and consistently deliver on product goals.
  • Be a therapeutic area expert, with the ability to position and differentiate products.
  • Collaborate with field-based stakeholders (Medical Science Liaisons, Market Access, strategic account managers, Hospital business managers, etc.) to address customer needs.
  • Identify market dynamics and trends, develop strategies supporting brand and corporate objectives, and ensure optimal account success.
  • Engage with account and territory data, working with internal data specialists to use insights for HCPs.
  • Determine optimal ABM strategy for HCPs leveraging AI and digital tools.
  • Drive results by identifying opportunities and developing strategic business plans to grow territory.
  • Differentiate portfolio contracting options and present financials to compare offerings.
  • Operate in a buy/bill model with responsibilities including pricing analysis, product shipping, contract compliance, and amendments.
  • Adapt to changing environments and sales methods, including remote selling.
  • Plan, organize, and execute local promotional speaker programs and activities.
  • Maximize territory budget to support execution of strategies and growth.
  • Participate in initiatives to support sales success (congresses, meetings, conferences).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience with B2B knowledge (preferred)
  • Broad understanding of healthcare environment, decision-making processes, and market trends
  • Proven ability to access decision makers in a B2B environment
  • Strong commercial business acumen, strategic and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to navigate hybrid selling environments and determine optimal HCP selling model
  • Experience with omnichannel approaches and data-driven engagement
  • Proficiency in data analytics to derive insights for customer solutions
  • Passion for science and ongoing knowledge of disease states and healthcare trends
  • Ability to execute tactical initiatives, provide feedback, and prioritize multiple products
  • Self-directed with strong execution and planning skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle
