Role Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Hire, coach, develop, and manage 9–12 representatives across Neuroscience and Cardiovascular portfolios
- Set clear team goals, hold to performance standards, and manage underperformance with directness and care
- Build a culture grounded in engagement, morale, and continuous improvement
- Apply situational leadership and multimodal coaching (live, virtual, hybrid) to strengthen rep capabilities
- Provide meaningful development opportunities supporting career growth and long-term engagement
Business Planning & Execution
- Develop and implement strategic area business plans aligned to national and regional priorities
- Own area-level budget accountability and monitor resource deployment
- Conduct proactive data analysis to identify market trends and anticipate shifts
- Ensure effective utilization of promotional materials and measure execution vs. plan
- Collaborate with Marketing during Op Plan to shape strategies, imperatives, and objectives
Customer Engagement & Key Account Development
- Build and maintain relationships with customers (including KOLs), large group practices, hospitals, and managed care
- Lead credible, science-forward conversations across therapeutic areas
- Identify and pursue key account development opportunities
- Champion cross-functional collaboration to meet customer needs
- Coach reps to integrate digital tools and cross-functional colleagues into customer engagements
Compliance & Integrity
- Ensure compliant selling activities for self and team; maintain working knowledge of compliance policies and escalate issues
Digital & Operational Excellence
- Operate digital/virtual tools and platforms; manage resources using data for dual-portfolio channel deployment
- Use sales data and reporting software to adjust strategy
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 6+ years pharmaceutical/biotech/medical marketing/sales; 3–5 years leadership role
- Experience engaging key thought leaders/high-influence customers preferred
- Valid U.S. driver’s license; DUI/DWI or impaired driving citation within past 7 years disqualifying
- Demonstrated leadership: influence, collaboration, coaching, and business impact
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA/relevant graduate degree; 5+ years people management
- Specialty sales/therapeutic expertise; cross-portfolio/integrated medicine a plus

- Strong organizational/analytical and strategic execution skills
Travel & Work Schedule
- Field travel required; overnight travel based on geography
- Ability to travel across all representative territories; attendance at area and national meetings

Benefits/Compensation (as stated)
- Annual base salary range: $139,000–$280,400; additional Sales Incentive bonus
