Role Responsibilities
- Hire, coach, develop, and manage 9–12 representatives across Neuroscience (Migraine) and Cardiovascular (NVAF/VTE)
- Set team goals; hold to performance standards; address underperformance with directness and care
- Build a culture focused on engagement, morale, and continuous improvement
- Provide situational leadership and multimodal coaching (live/virtual/hybrid) to strengthen rep capabilities
- Develop and implement strategic area business plans aligned to national and regional priorities
- Own area budget accountability; deploy resources to maximize business potential
- Analyze data to identify market trends, assess key stakeholders, and anticipate shifts
- Use promotional materials effectively and measure field execution vs. plan
- Collaborate with Marketing during the Op Plan process
- Build relationships with customers (incl. KOLs), large group practices, hospitals, and managed care organizations
- Lead credible, science-forward discussions across therapeutic areas
- Identify and pursue key account development opportunities
- Champion cross-functional collaboration; connect HSPs with channel and HQ partners
- Coach reps to integrate digital tools and cross-functional colleagues into engagements
- Ensure compliance of all selling activities; maintain knowledge of compliance policies and escalate issues
- Operate digital/virtual tools; manage resources using data for channel deployment

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 6+ years pharma/biotech/medical marketing/sales; 3–5 years in demonstrated leadership role
- Preferred: experience with key thought leaders/high-influence customers
- Valid U.S. driver’s license; any DUI/DWI or impaired driving citation within 7 years is disqualifying
- Demonstrated leadership influencing/coaching and creating business impact
- Preferred: MBA/graduate degree; 5+ years people management; specialty sales/therapeutic expertise; cross-portfolio/integrated medicine; advanced virtual communication; strong analytical/organizational skills

Travel & Work Schedule
- Field travel required; overnight travel expected; attend area and national meetings
