Role Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Hire, coach, develop, and manage 9–12 representatives across Neuroscience and Cardiovascular portfolios
- Establish team goals, hold reps accountable, and manage underperformance
- Build a culture grounded in engagement, morale, and continuous improvement
- Use situational leadership and multimodal coaching (live/virtual/hybrid) to strengthen engagement capabilities
- Provide meaningful development opportunities for career growth
Business Planning & Execution
- Develop and implement strategic area business plans aligned to national/regional priorities
- Own area-level budget accountability and monitor resource deployment
- Conduct proactive data analysis to identify market trends and anticipate shifts
- Ensure effective use of promotional materials and measure field execution vs. plan
- Collaborate with Marketing during Op Plan to shape strategies and objectives
Customer Engagement & Key Account Development
- Build relationships with customers (incl. KOLs), large group practices, hospitals, and managed care orgs
- Lead credible, science-forward conversations across therapeutic areas
- Identify and pursue key account development opportunities
- Champion cross-functional collaboration; connect HSPs with channel and HQ partners
- Coach reps on integrating digital tools and cross-functional colleagues into engagements
Compliance & Integrity
- Ensure compliant selling activities for self and team; maintain compliance policy knowledge and escalate issues
- Model compliant, integrity-focused behavior
Digital & Operational Excellence
- Operate digital/virtual tools and platforms
- Use data-driven resource management for channel deployment
- Leverage sales data/reporting software to adjust strategy
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 6+ years in pharma/biotech/medical marketing or sales; 3–5 years in a demonstrated leadership role
- Experience engaging key thought leaders/high-influence customers in large group practices, hospitals, or managed care orgs preferred
- Valid U.S. driver’s license; DUI/DWI or impaired driving citation within past 7 years disqualifying
- Demonstrated leadership: influence, collaboration, coaching, and business impact
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or relevant graduate degree
- 5+ years people management; ability to develop others and lead through change
- Specialty sales/therapeutic expertise; cross-portfolio/integrated medicine experience a plus

Travel & Work Schedule
- Field travel required; overnight travel based on area geography
