Main Responsibilities
- Grow portfolio share and revenue; consistently deliver on product goals.
- Be a therapeutic area expert; position and differentiate products effectively.
- Collaborate with field stakeholders (Medical Science Liaisons, Market Access, strategic account managers, hospital business managers) to proactively address customer needs.
- Identify market dynamics/trends, develop strategies supporting brand and corporate objectives, and drive optimal account success in assigned geography.
- Use account/territory data and partner with internal data specialists to help HCPs operate more effectively.
- Determine an agile ABM strategy for HCPs leveraging AI and other digital tools.
- Develop strategic business plans to generate product utilization and grow territory business.
- Understand/differentiate portfolio contracting options and compare competitive offerings via financial presentations.
- Execute buy/bill model operationally: complex pricing analysis, price calculator usage, product shipping, monitor contract compliance, and secure contract amendments.
- Adapt to changing sales methodologies, including remote selling.
- Plan, organize, and execute local promotional speaker programs and activities.
- Maximize territory budget allocation to execute strategies/tactics and grow the business.
- Participate in and help lead sales success initiatives (e.g., congresses, local/regional meetings, medical conferences).
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree.
- 3+ years pharmaceutical, vaccines, life sciences, biotech, or medical device sales experience.
- Valid driverโs license.
- Ability to travel within West Virginia territory.
