Main Responsibilities
- Engage Allergy/Immunology customers in assigned territory and deliver clinically focused messages to introduce, launch, grow brand-share and revenue; consistently deliver product goals for atopic dermatitis and asthma.
- Coordinate with field stakeholders (e.g., medical science liaisons, field reimbursement/market access, thought leader liaisons) to address customer needs, identify market trends, and develop strategies aligned to brand/corporate objectives.
- Build relationships with Allergy experts, biologic coordinators, office staff, other healthcare personnel, and patient advocacy support groups.
- Identify opportunities and develop strategic business plans to generate utilization and grow territory business.
- Plan, organize, and execute local promotional speaker programs and activities.
- Maximize territory budget to execute strategies and grow the business.
- Participate in and help lead sales initiatives (e.g., congresses, meetings, medical conferences) as assigned.
- Own business opportunities, including coordinating/calling on large group practices and other key targets.
- Establish relationships with thought leaders to drive industry-leading customer value.
About You / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college/university.
- Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical/medical device/biotech sales, or relevant clinical experience and/or in a Sanofi development program.
- Ability to learn/apply technical and scientific product information.
- Travel as necessary within assigned territory.
- Proven consistent sales performance in complex markets with integrity/compliance.
- Ability to work collaboratively.
- Valid Driver’s License.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years selling subcutaneous self-injectable (or office-administered IV) biologics.
- 2+ years selling in asthma or immunology disorders (atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, MS, Crohn’s, ulcerative colitis).
- 2+ years calling on Allergists or Dermatologists.
- Launch experience in specialty care/biologics; alliance/matrix partnership experience.
- Advanced clinically based selling skills; results-oriented launch track record.
- In-servicing/training office staff; passion for science and proactive learning; strong account management.
