PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own and deliver regional sales performance across a team of 4–6 Key Account Managers (KAMs)
- Translate national strategy into regional/territory execution plans
- Analyze performance trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape; adjust strategy as needed
- Set and coach clear performance expectations, KPIs, and accountability frameworks
- Identify risks/opportunities early; proactively pursue interactions with key decision makers (IDN, hospital, infusion clinic leadership, KOLs)

LEADERSHIP, COACHING & TALENT DEVELOPMENT
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing KAM team; foster accountability and continuous improvement
- Provide hands-on field coaching (joint calls, strategic account reviews, real-time feedback)
- Elevate capabilities in strategic account management and complex selling
- Attract, develop, retain talent; create individualized development plans and succession strategies
- Promote values-driven culture (integrity, grit, ownership)

CUSTOMER & MARKET ENGAGEMENT
- Maintain executive-level relationships with institutions, health systems, and KOLs
- Support KAMs in navigating complex accounts and advancing opportunities; engage in high-priority negotiations
- Understand market access dynamics, payer environment, and institutional decision-making

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred (MBA, MPH, PharmD, or related)
- 10+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience
- Proven leadership in specialty pharma sales with field-based teams
- Demonstrated results through others in complex, competitive markets
- Strong drug development/commercialization and specialty market understanding
- Advanced strategic/analytical thinking; exceptional coaching/communication/influencing skills
- Ability to lead in a matrixed organization
- High business acumen, accountability, and execution focus
- Preferred: knowledge of targeted geography; experience in institutional/IDN environments; prior regional/multi-state business ownership; established relationships with local healthcare systems and KOLs
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Travel: ~75% (including field engagement and conferences)
