Applications Lab Associate II

Role: Support customer-driven NGS projects in a service laboratory by executing library prep, target enrichment, and sequencing workflows. Responsibilities: perform molecular biology techniques (PCR, DNA quantification, purification), operate and maintain sequencing equipment, troubleshoot issues, track multiple projects, analyze data, and ensure compliance with quality standards like ISO 13485. Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, R&D, Field Applications, and Customer Support teams to deliver high-quality sequencing results. Requirements: B.S./M.S. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field; hands-on experience with PCR, DNA prep, and laboratory equipment; strong documentation and organizational skills; able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting. Preferred: 3–5 years in molecular biology or NGS workflows; experience with Illumina, PacBio, ONT platforms; familiarity with NGS applications for DNA, RNA, methylation; proficiency with analytical tools like BioAnalyzer, TapeStation, Qubit, Nanodrop.
