The Position
Responsible for ensuring reliable and consistent operation of identified local manufacturing applications required to operate 24x7. Improve reliability of process control systems to meet current and projected customer, business, and regulatory requirements through People Focus, Equipment Focus, and Standards โ€œGatekeeperโ€.

Essential Functions
- Liaise with production (shop floor) and corporate to ensure application understanding and manage continuous improvement initiatives
- Present initiatives/information accurately; explain industry jargon clearly
- Support identification of application requirements via stakeholder management
- Gather stakeholder needs/process gaps and develop/implement action plans supporting production goals
- Provide input to product feature enhancements and process improvements
- Resolve system-related issues and discrepancies
- Coordinate and oversee software upgrades and releases
- Coach and train colleagues and stakeholders
- Schedule and execute plans in coordination with manufacturing schedules
- Support projects using specified application solutions
- Maintain process application standards, specifications, and maintenance plans
- Own self-development to understand site process control systems
- Support audits/inspections as SME for specified process applications
- Utilize cLEAN tools for systematic problem solving, process improvement, and project management
- Operate within a Quality Mindset (risk management/mitigation)
- Implement effective Change Management
- Support Corporate/DFP/local IT/local stakeholder initiatives and projects

Qualifications
- Bachelorโ€™s degree in IT/Engineering/related field or equivalent (experience + education) required
- 5โ€“8+ years IT/engineering experience in process-based manufacturing, utility, and/or packaging systems (plus)
- Knowledge of PAS-X, POInT, PLC, SCADA (plus)
- Proven project management expertise in planning/organization and project execution (plus)
