Position Summary
- Support end-to-end Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) procurement strategy for value generation.
- Translate business needs into sourcing strategies; shape supply base; drive supplier performance.
Procurement Strategy & Execution
- Drive opportunity identification and capability uplift.
- Develop and execute category sourcing strategies (short/mid/long-term).
- Use market intelligence to identify value opportunities and proactively manage supply/cost risks.
- Deliver against business milestones; lead medium-to-large complex procurement projects.
Supplier Management & Contracting
- Build relationships with strategic suppliers; manage selection and due diligence.
- Negotiate commercial agreements/contracts balancing value, risk, and continuity.
- Identify cost reductions, quality improvements, and process efficiencies.
- Oversee contract lifecycle (renewals/amendments) with Legal.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Represent Procurement in category/project forums.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, and R&D for launches and operational readiness.
- Support sustainable procurement and supplier diversity.
Data/Tools/Innovation
- Use procurement systems/analytics; promote digital/automation.
- Translate category needs into supplier innovation projects; lead through commercialization/qualification/verification.
Qualifications (Required)
- Bachelorβs degree (Supply Chain/Business/Engineering/Chemistry/Biological Sciences or related); MBA preferred.
- 8+ years procurement/category management.
- Strong negotiation, sourcing strategy, supplier management, and contract delivery.
- Strong analytics (Excel); familiarity with digital/AI procurement tools.
- Strong presentation and business-partner influence; project management.

- Up to 20% domestic/international.
