About the Role
Primarily provides routine Alliance Management support including the logistical, administrative, and process related activities for alliances spanning new business development transactions to existing strategic alliances in early development through commercialization. Provides support to ensure that alliances run smoothly and related projects progress and meet pre-defined objectives and timelines.
Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to)
- Under general supervision, performs alliance support including cross-functional coordination, scheduling, reporting, and tracking
- Provide governance and meeting support (agendas, meeting minutes, governance presentations)
- Serve as a point of contact for routine alliance communications
- Assist with tracking contractual milestones and monitoring contractual obligations
- Coordinate with internal teams (R&D, Legal, Finance, Clinical, Regulatory, CMC) to support alliance activities
- Track action items and follow up with internal and external stakeholders to ensure completion
- Maintain alliance trackers and dashboards
- Support preparation of alliance status updates and reports
- Escalate risks, delays, or issues to senior alliance leaders
- Assist with communication of priorities and strategies to alliance governance committee(s)
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- BS/BA in a scientific or business field and 2+ years of experience in a biotechnology/pharmaceutical scientific or alliance management role, OR Masterβs degree with some similar experience
- Demonstrated expertise in biotech/pharma (scientific discipline, business development, or alliance management)
- Experience working on cross-functional and global teams
- Experience with contracts and legal terminology
- Working knowledge of small molecule and biologics drug discovery and development
- Basic understanding of accounting and finance principles
- Knowledge of drug development process and regulatory aspects
- High attention to detail; strong communication; problem-solving/analytical thinking
- Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft suite; adaptable to collaboration tools; strong project management
Compensation/Benefits
- Annual base salary: $81,000β$111,000; annual bonus target 20% of earned base salary; equity long-term incentive eligibility; retirement plan (match), paid vacation/holidays/personal days, caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits (medical, prescription drug, dental, vision)
