Key Responsibilities:
- Navigate and resolve account challenges with tailored solutions.
- Build and execute a strategic territory plan to drive product demand and improve patient outcomes.
- Partner with territory teammates, field teams, and home-office colleagues to deliver access support.
- Apply market/competitive knowledge to anticipate opportunities and respond with agility.
- Use territory data and market trends to uncover local insights and lead customer engagements (virtual or in person).
- Facilitate stakeholder planning sessions to solve complex problems and collaborate across functions.
- Deliver real-time access support in partnership with Patient Specialty Services (PSS).
- Use digital tools and omni-channel strategies to personalize outreach (virtual and face-to-face).
Major Accountabilities:
- Drive competitive sales growth; identify and prioritize high-potential customers using data.
- Conduct value-based conversations with HCPs to understand challenges and opportunities.
- Personalize customer engagement journeys using available content and multiple channels.
- Build relationships with opinion leaders and influencers to improve the patient journey.
- Gather customer insights, act on feedback, and adjust interaction plans dynamically.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (compliantly) to address unmet customer/patient needs.
- Report technical complaints/adverse events/special case scenarios within 24 hours; distribute marketing samples (where applicable).
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree required.
- Experience (last 5 years) in pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare or similarly structured complex sales with geographically dispersed teams; Associate level: limited prior sales experience acceptable.
- Proven track record selling to large accounts/key customers.
- Strong analytic/problem-solving skills and ethical leadership/compliance.
- Reside within territory or within 50 miles of the territory border; travel 60β80%; valid driverβs license.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience across therapeutic groups/disease states, account management strategy, and new product launches.
- Understanding of patient services, market access, buy-and-bill, specialty pharmacy, reimbursement, and/or medical calling on HCPs.
