Territory Account Specialist (TAS)
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve account challenges with tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
- Build and execute a territory plan aligned to shared priorities to drive product demand and improve patient outcomes.
- Partner with territory teammates, field teams, and home-office colleagues to deliver access support.
- Use market/competitive knowledge and territory data to anticipate opportunities and lead virtual/in-person customer engagements.
- Facilitate stakeholder planning sessions to solve complex problems and coordinate across functions.
- Provide real-time access support and work closely with Patient Specialty Services (PSS).
- Use digital tools and omni-channel strategies for personalized outreach (virtual and face-to-face).
Essential Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree (4-year).
- Experience in pharma/biotech/healthcare or similarly complex industries with large, geographically dispersed sales teams (within last 5 years); Associate level: applicants with limited prior sales experience encouraged.
- Proven success selling to large accounts and key customers.
- Self-starter with strong analytic/problem-solving skills and ethical/compliance leadership.
- Reside within the territory or within 50 miles of its border; travel 60β80%; valid driverβs license.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience across therapeutic groups/disease states, account management strategy, and new product launches.
- Knowledge of patient services, market access, buy-and-bill, specialty pharmacy, reimbursement, and/or HCP medical calling.
Leveling Guidelines (selected)
- Associate: 4+ years military leadership or limited sales experience.
- Territory: 2+ years relevant complex sales experience.
- Senior: 5+ years relevant complex sales experience.
- Executive: 10+ years relevant complex sales experience.
Compensation/Benefits (US)
- Salary ranges: Associate $77,000β$143,000; Territory $93,800β$174,200; Senior $119,700β$222,300; Executive $132,300β$245,700.
- Performance-based cash incentive; possible annual equity (by level).
