Area Business Leader (ABL)

Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, develop, retain, mentor, and lead a diverse team of Territory Account Specialists; set KPI cadence and supervise performance.
- Model accountability and shared vision; challenge the status quo and optimize processes.
- Monitor and mentor to ensure effective total account orchestration and deployment of resources to meet customer needs.
- Develop and execute a customer-centric business plan with customer engagement and cross-functional partners to optimize customer experience and demand.
- Partner with regional leadership on regional goals, business execution, team development, and culture.
- Champion a customer-centric, results-oriented culture where team members speak up, solve problems, collaborate, experiment, and improve.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of clinical, access and reimbursement, territory management, and omni-channel marketing tools.
- Use analytics to identify risk/opportunity and ensure proper deployment of face-to-face meetings, omni-channel resources, and total office calls.

Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 2+ years first-line sales manager experience with strategic thinking/enterprise mindset (pharma/biotech/healthcare or similar complex sales).
- Demonstrated success building and retaining diverse, high-performing teams.
- Proven ability to drive sales growth and lead cross-functional partnerships in complex, multi-regional environments.
- Reside within territory or within 100 miles of territory border; travel 60–80%; valid driver’s license.

Desirable:
- Experience leading teams with large practices/hospitals/IDNs/SoC and knowledge of outpatient and inpatient reimbursement.
